What qualities do you look for in a friend?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 07, 2007:
I think commitment is an important quality in a friend. Friends don't just hang out when one person is bored, they hang out with you because they like you for who you are. Friends accept you but when you do something negative, they actually tell you what you did wrongly, not lie to you. Honesty is very important.
I find that with my good friends, they are all individualistic and add flavor to the world in a positive way. They have confidence and are secure about themselves. They don't question who I am and they know not to abuse my friendship because fidelity is the most important quality in a friend I look for.
